La fondation du Journal Féministe Algérien (JFA)

La Journal Féministe Algérien (JFA) (The Algerian Feminist Journal) is a group for information, communication and feminist initiatives. It was founded on social media on July 05, 2015, and registered as a foundation on March 08, 2021. The foundation is represented by feminists from different wilayas, including Algiers, Constantine, Bejaïa, Batna, Biskra, Aïn Defla, Adrar , Ghardaia, Tebesssa, Guelma and others. Through the cohesion between its regional offices, the JFA works mainly for national advocacy for equality and women’s rights. The Journal Féministe Algérien is part of an intersectional feminist struggle. Its motto is “Yes to equality, no to violence, no to discrimination: EQUALITY, FREEDOMS, INCLUSION”.

Some recent activities include:

  • March 8, 2020: the #8لحقوقنا_العالمي_اليوم_بل_عيد_ماشي_مارس campaign of our rights.
  • Feminist content creation project (RANA HNA): train activists in feminist citizen journalism and digital communication in addition to the creation of audio and audiovisual content. The achievements of the project are part of the long term in order to support feminist creation.
  • The feminist games-ludo club: Workshops and meetings for women and girls. Board games and events for players in favour of women’s rights. Through this activity, the JFA animators create spaces for exchange, freedom of speech, awareness, information, entertainment and relaxation for women.
  • Training-workshops: The Algerian Feminist Journal organises training for its members, and requesting organisations, duplicated in the regions where it is installed (cascade training). These trainings are equipped with teaching materials and content developed and contextualised by the Algerian Feminist Journal with allied experts-information communication: mainly on social networks.
  • Advocacy: the mainstay of JFA’s work and objectives

La Journal Féministe Algérien (JFA) est un groupe d’information, de communication et d’initiatives féministes. Il a été fondé sur les médias sociaux le 05 juillet 2015, et enregistré en tant que fondation le 08 mars 2021. La fondation est représentée par des féministes de différentes wilayas, notamment Alger, Constantine, Bejaïa, Batna, Biskra, Aïn Defla, Adrar , Ghardaia, Tebesssa, Guelma et autres. Grâce à la cohésion entre ses bureaux régionaux, le JFA travaille principalement pour le plaidoyer national pour l’égalité et les droits des femmes. Le Journal Féministe Algérien s’inscrit dans une lutte féministe intersectionnelle. Sa devise est “Oui à l’égalité, non à la violence, non à la discrimination : ÉGALITÉ, LIBERTÉS, INCLUSION”.

Parmi les activités récentes, on peut citer :

  • Le 8 mars 2020 : la campagne #8لحقوقنا_العالمي_اليوم_بل_عيد_ماشي_مارس de nos droits.
  • Projet de création de contenu féministe (RANA HNA) : former les militantes au journalisme citoyen féministe et à la communication numérique en plus de la création de contenu audio et audiovisuel. Les réalisations du projet s’inscrivent dans la durée afin de soutenir la création féministe.
  • Le club de jeux féministes-ludo : Ateliers et rencontres pour les femmes et les jeunes filles. Jeux de société et animations pour les joueuses en faveur des droits des femmes. A travers cette activité, les animatrices de la JFA créent des espaces d’échange, de liberté de parole, de sensibilisation, d’information, de divertissement et de détente pour les femmes.
  • Formations-ateliers : Le Journal Féministe Algérien organise des formations pour ses membres, et les organisations demandeuses, dupliquées dans les régions où il est installé (formation en cascade). Ces formations sont dotées de matériel pédagogique et de contenus développés et contextualisés par le Journal Féministe Algérien avec des experts alliés – Communication d’information : principalement sur les réseaux sociaux.
  • Plaidoyer : le pilier du travail et des objectifs de JFA.
